Chamber Choir
The Chamber Choir is a co-curricular ensemble that is pulled from the Symphonic Choir. Students audition in the fall and then meet Mondays after school for 60-90 minutes. This group performs at all seasonal concerts and the OMEA Solo and Ensemble Adjudicated Event. The main function of this group is to sing for various community organizations around the Vandalia area and surrounding communities. Over the years this group has performed for the Vandalia Lion’s Club, the Vandalia Optimists Club, the Vandalia Rotary Club, The Montgomery County Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony, as well as for other churches and community events.

Additional performances are added throughout the year, which annually includes the Butler Memorial Program. The Symphonic Choir has historically travelled to New York City in the springs of odd years. We hope to resume these trips in the near future. This choir continually works on improving vocal production, music reading, and sight-singing skills through advanced literature.
